Master Gerard is retiring after a long career as a teacher. He has been fascinated for years by everything related to firefighters and at his farewell party he receives a statue of a fire truck as a gift. This gives him the idea not to just sit quietly at home and enjoy his retirement, but to try to join the firefighter squad as a volunteer
